What are the main tasks that make up your daily work routine?
I work on the drafting team. I design CAD plans for interior design and shopfitting projects in collaboration with the team.
How would you describe your personal interior design style in three words?
Eye-catching, harmonious, functional.
What has been the strongest influence on your perspective of design/interior architecture/architecture? Why?
«La Fábrica» by Ricardo Bofill is a project that I’ve always liked and has caught my attention. It is an old, abandoned cement factory that has been converted into the architect’s living and studio space. I really like how respectfully the original structure was treated and how it became a liveable, creative space with a flat, work area, courtyards and plants. It is a harmonious embodiment of old and new, and shows how architecture and interior architecture can be redesigned without tearing everything down.
What do you need at your work station at all times?
Coffee, water and paper or a notebook to jot down by hand the things I don’t want to forget.
How do you relax after a long day at work?
I like to take walks in nature when the weather is good. I also do yoga and enjoy cooking without recipes, improvising with what I happen to have in the kitchen. Sometimes it works out well, other times it doesn’t.
