What are the main tasks that make up your daily work routine?

There’s never a dull moment in HR – every day there are new issues and people. Whether it’s job interviews, salary concerns or sensitive employee meetings – I try to keep things in perspective and ensure fair and clear solutions. The biggest challenge? Striking a balance between the employees’ concerns and the company’s objectives – and doing so with a smile on my face whenever possible. 

How would you describe your personal interior design style in three words?

Cosy, simple and modern.

What do you need at your work station at all times?

There have to be writing utensils, of course. Water or tea in the morning – and maybe later on a cold Coke for a burst of freshness. There also has to be something sweet in my drawer for comfort food, hand cream and, most importantly, a sense of humour and strong nerves. You never know what the day will bring. 

How do you relax after a long day at work?

Most of all I look forward to going home, cooking something delicious or spending time with family and friends. If I fancy some sport, I like playing a round of paddleball or doing Pilates. If I feel like something less strenuous, I spend the evening on my sofa watching Netflix. 

What makes a place a home for you?

For me, home is my own personal oasis – cosy, relaxed and preferably with my loved ones present. A place where I can just be myself.
