What are the main tasks that make up your daily work routine?
One of my main tasks is to draft floor plans, sections, views and detailed plans according to the individual needs of the clientele. This work is crucial for a precise and technically flawless implementation on site.
How would you describe your personal interior design style in three words?
Minimalist, eclectic, unconventional.
What has been the strongest influence on your perspective of design/interior architecture/architecture? Why?
The book «The Bauhaus» by Frank Whitford had a major influence on my view of design and architecture. It opened the door to great artists and their work and kindled a deep fascination in my childhood that has stayed with me to this day.
How do you relax after a long day at work?
In order to unwind after a long day at work, I like to swap out my computer and mouse for paper and a pen. Drawing helps me let my thoughts go and clear my head. Sometimes I need the opposite thing – in those cases I let off steam by doing sport and balance myself out that way.
What song have you been listening to for years that never gets old?
«Your Latest Trick» – Dire Straits. The distinctive saxophone intro pulls me in every time. The song has a contemplative, nearly timeless mood and creates a unique atmosphere that has been accompanying me for years.
