How long have you been working for Dobas AG?  

I started my apprenticeship in August 2020.

What are your main tasks during your apprenticeship?  

I mainly support other employees with their projects. I also handle orders and welcome clients.

How do you stay informed and, more importantly, inspired?

I gain know-how at vocational school and elsewhere. I get inspiration from social media and magazines.

What materials make your senses tingle?

I am very fascinated by natural stones, especially marble.

What’s lying around your desk that might seem unnecessary to others but is important to you and your motivation?

A card from our apprentice supervisor, which she wrote to me at the start of my training.

What building and/or space has left a particularly lasting impression on you and why?

The Burj Khalifa is one of the most remarkable things I have ever seen. Its immense size and cutting-edge technology were astonishing. It felt almost unreal to stand inside this building. The view from inside was no less impressive. Suddenly everything seemed miniscule.

What fills you with joy and pride in your professional life?

When a project I had worked on was successfully completed. Or when I see drawings of furniture become tangible objects.

What brings you joy in your personal life?

I enjoy breakdancing a lot and I also like playing basketball with my brothers.
