How long have you been working for Dobas AG?  

I started working at Dobas in late summer 2022.

Where did your professional journey take you prior to your current position?

I completed an EFZ drafting apprenticeship with a specialisation in Architecture and decided to switch to Interior Architecture after that.

What are your main tasks in your role as interior designer?

I develop and design interiors in consultation with the project managers and clients. I also do drafting work to help out with implementation planning and am one of the people in charge of our CAD structure, which I introduce to new employees.

How do you stay informed and, more importantly, inspired?

I’m inspired by interactions with other people, their stories and paths of development. I also get inspiration from browsing the internet and travelling the world.

What materials make your senses tingle?

I love the combination of old and new. For example, the mix of old wood with a history and new, modern materials, colours and shapes.

What should not be missing from your workplace?

My notebook – it is a relief for me to write everything down. I also can’t do without my water bottle, plus there are some snacks hidden in my drawer…

What building and/or space has left a particularly lasting impression on you and why?

In 2023, I went to a wellness hotel in Austria that swept me off my feet. The furniture was a mix of alpine and boho chic, of traditional and new. The food, the smells and the people working there gave me butterflies in my belly. A holistic, wonderful experience!

What fills you with joy and pride in your professional life?

When we do good teamwork on a project and fulfil our client’s wishes.

What brings you joy in your personal life?

Getting to know different cultures and landscapes while travelling. I also really enjoy the time I spend with my loved ones so we can make new memories together and recharge our batteries.
