How long have you been working for Dobas AG?
I’ve been part of the Dobas team since November 2023.
Where did your professional journey take you prior to your current position?
My career began with a Business apprenticeship in the paper industry. After that, I gained my first years of experience in the exports field and now I have 25 years of experience under my belt.
What are your main tasks as an export manager?
The bulk of my job involves preparing export documents for our international interior architecture projects. I’m also responsible for coordinating deliveries for all modes of transport.
How do you stay informed and, more importantly, inspired?
I follow world events thanks to digital media. Communicating with the chamber of commerce and going to seminars on international trade issues help keep me informed as well.
What materials make your senses tingle?
The combination of wood and stone. Wood brings warmth, stone is pure and elegant.
What should not be missing from your workplace?
A nice cup of espresso.
What building and/or space has left a particularly lasting impression on you and why?
The Marina Bay Sands hotel in Singapore, with its infinity pool and the rooftop terrace that has a 360-degree panoramic view.
What fills you with joy and pride in your professional life?
When goods get to the right place at the right time. And putting together all the correct and necessary documents for export to the destination country.
What brings you joy in your personal life?
Discovering the world and spending time with my family and friends. I love being in nature.
